A photo chronicle covering the passenger cars used by the
Wehrmacht during WWII. These fulfilled various roles
including command and communications, radio intelligence and
reconnaissance, towing, and many more purposes. Apart from
German manufactured automobiles such as Audi, BMW, VW, Opel
and Mercedes, the Wermacht made use of vehicles made in the
occupied territories. These included Skoda, Citroen, Renault
and Peugot, and they also operated captured cars such as the
Willys Jeep, Fords, Cadillacs, Humbers, Wolseleys and many
other British and American models.

The Russian annexation of Crimea
was one of the great strategic shocks of the past
twenty-five years. For many in the West, Moscow’s actions in
early 2014 marked the end of illusions about cooperation,
and the return to geopolitical and ideological
confrontation. Russia, for so long a peripheral presence,
has become the central actor in a new global drama. This
groundbreaking book analyzes the broader context of the
crisis by examining the interplay between Russian foreign
policy and an increasingly anarchic international
environment.

DELPRADO/OSPREY AIRCRAFT OF THE ACES (MEN
& LEGENDS):
IMPERIAL JAPANESE NAVY ACES, 1937-45
by Henry Sakaida
The outcome of the Pacific War was heavily
influenced by the naval battles between the Imperial
Japanese fleet and the US Navy. One of the key elements
was Japan's large fighter component, which had gained
experience over Manchuria, China and Mongolia in the
late 1930s. Manufacturer Mitsubishi derived much from
these campaigns, producing one of the best fighters of
WWII, the A6M Zero-Sen. Navy pilots proved to be highly
skilled when engaged by Allied flyers. The book includes
colour artwork and profiles by Iain Wyllie, Mike
Chappell and Tom Tullis, and black and white 1/72 scale
three-view drawings by Mark Styling.
