for plastic model kits produced by Japan's renowned Tamiya
Plastic Model Co. Includes approximately 350 original
paintings of military figures, uniforms, guns and weapons,
armoured vehicles, military aircraft and warships. Amongst
these there are double-page landscape foldout paintings of a
U. S. Air Force McDonnel Douglas F-15A Eagle air superiority
combat fighter and a U. S. Army M42 Duster self-propelled
anti-aircraft gun. A collectible volume with
Japanese/English text, presented in a decorative card cover
sleeved in a protective wrap (illustrated identically with
the cover). As an added bonus there is a loosely inserted 96
page, 2009/10 colour catalogue produced by Pocketbond,
importer of model kits from around the world. This features
in excess of 3,400 kits, all illustrated in full colour.

A comprehensive analysis of the Japanese aircraft
industry between the late thirties and the dawn of the
nuclear age. The introductory chapters cover the Air arms of
the Japanese Army and Navy and their designation, camouflage
and marking systems. The main section covers the most
significant aircraft operated before and during the Pacific
War. Numerous appendices provide information on less
important military and foreign operated aircraft. This is
the revised and updated second edition.
The 43rd (Wessex Division) was commanded by the
idiosyncratic General Ivo Thomas who, prior to the Normandy
invasion, had trained his formation to the peak of
efficiency. From June 1944 to May 1945 the 'Fighting Yellow
Devils' took a leading part in the operations of 21st Army
Group's campaign from the beaches of Normandy to the German
surrender.

describes the most important and largest shelter complexes
of the national defence council, and the Ministries for
national defense, public security and the interior, plus
buildings of the Soviet armed forces in Germany. Contains
more than 120 colour and 90 black and white photos, 60
layout plans, sketches and documentation exemplifying 48
types of structure up to 1989. All designs were
reconstructed from previously restricted plans and
specifications.
