A History of Canadian Army Trades
and Parachute Badges. A book that contains a job description
for every trade in the Canadian Army since before the First
World War. The vast majority of trades described are long
obsolete, examples of these being Carriage and Wagon
Repairer, Checker Number Taker, Chemical Technician,
Paperhanger, Panel Beater, Watchmaker, Despatch Rider,
Photogrammetrist and hundreds of others. For each job, a
photo of their trade badge is shown if one existed, but not
all trades had badges. This labour of love is now extremely
rare.

An action-packed account of how intricate Allied
deception plans totally misled Hitler and German Military
Intelligence as to the location and date of the Invasion of
Normandy. The chicanery included electronic spoofing, the
activity of double agents, diplomatic deceit, camouflage,
strategic feints, phony military installations, sabotage,
propoganda, fake codes, plus a completely imaginary US Army
based in the South east and 'commanded' by General George S/
Patton.

THE OPERATORS: ON THE STREETS WITH
BRITAIN'S MOST SECRET SERVICE
by James Rennie
The inside story of 14 Intelligence
Company, the British Army's highly trained covert,
counter-terrorist and intelligence unit. Trained in the same
operational and surveillance techniques as the SAS and in
the intelligence techniques of MI6 and MI5, they carried out
dangerous undercover missions on the streets of Belfast and
the 'bandit country' of South Armagh. For every bomb that
went off 14 Int. prevented twelve. The selection process was
the most physically, intellectually and emotionally
demanding anywhere in the world. The author is a former 14
Int. Operations Officer
