SS-Obergruppenführer ReinhardHeydrich was the ablest Nazi of them
all. A talented linguist, musician and the perfect German
administrator, he rose through the ranks from relative obscurity
in the 1920s to the pinnacle of power in the Third Reich by
1936. Becoming an SS and Police General, Hitler appointed him
the Acting German Reichsprotektor of Bohemia and Moravia. He was
assassinated in Prague in the spring of 1942 by British SOE
trained commandos parachuted into Czechoslovakia.

The story of Geoffrey Pyke, a prisoner of war and escapee during
the First World War. In the Second World War he became an
inventor, convincing Churchill and Mountbatten of the voracity
of one of his schemes, Project Habakkuk, a plan to create large
vessels formed from icebergs and insulated with woodpulp which
could be used to land and take off aircraft. He gave birth to
the Mass Observation Movement and had a hand in numerous schemes
to defeat the Nazis. He committed suicide in 1948, having come
under suspicion by MI5 that he was in fact a senior Soviet
agent.
