IN GOOD FAITH: THE HISTORY OF THE
4.SS-
POLIZEI-PANZER-GRENADIER-DIVISION VOL I, 1939-1943
by Friedrich Husemann
The Polizei-Division was one of the lesser-known combat formations
of the Waffen-SS. Composed primarily of police officers, it was
formed in October 1939 and served almost exclusively on the
Eastern Front where it was eventually equipped as a
Panzergrenadier-Division (mechanized division). This volume of the
two-part history covers the formation of the division in 1939, its
employment during the campaign in France, and finally its
commitment in the East. Its finest hour was in the action on the
Wolchow River, where the Russians attempted to relieve the
beleaguered city of Leningrad.

Khe Sanh was a small village in northwest South Vietnam that sat
astride key North Vietnamese infiltration routes. In September 1966
a Marine battalion deployed into the area. Action gradually
increased as the NVA attempted to destroy U.S. Forces bases, and the
siege of Khe Sanh proper began in October 1967. The bitter fight
lasted into July 1968 when, with the changing strategic and tactical
situation, the base was finally closed. This book details the siege
and explains how, although the NVA successfully overran a Special
Forces camp nearby, it was unable to drive U.S. forces from Khe Sanh.

three different series of Sd.Kfz.231, five of Sd.Kfz.232, two of
Sd.Kfz.233, and four series of Sd.Kfz.263. For the first time the
defining features of each sub variant and the dates of significant
modifications have been correctly identified. Hundreds of hours
were spent precisely measuring surviving s.Pz.Sp.Wg. and
components to create new four-view 1/35 scale drawings. In
accordance with Panzer Tracts high standards, the text and data
are based solely on primary sources.
