This is a unique collection of photographs
documenting the Warsaw Rising of 1944. Eugeniusz
Lokajski, pseudonym "Brok", was an Olympic athlete, a
soldier, and one of the best known participants of the
Warsaw Rising. During the Rising Lokajski was at the
centre of events and the images he captured constitute a
historic chronicle of life during the intense fighting
in the city. Those images transport us back to events of
autumn 1944 when the Polish Resistance - the so-called
'Home Army' valiantly fought against the Nazi occupiers.
This impressive book was published in 2007 by the Warsaw
Rising Museum. All text and captions are in English. A
very scarce volume
