commanded. Volume I details the structure of OKW, OKH, the Home
Command, the Commanders in Occupied Territories, the Military
Districts and their functions. There is an index listing all
personnel mentioned in the text, annotated if they were awarded
the Knights Cross. Later volumes detail the Army Groups, Armies,
Corps and Divisions, their campaigns, commanders, operations
officers and subordinate units

1943 - 1945. With chapters on the Japanese Military Organization
and Methods, the battles in Arakan, Imphal and Kohima, the Second
Chindit Operation, the Battles of Meiktila and Mandalay and the
Capture of Rangoon. Written and published primarily for the use of
British Army officers preparing for their Staff College and
Promotion exams.

An impressive facsimile of the 1934 regulations. Includes full
details of all forms of dress worn by officers, with descriptions
of helmet plates, cap badges, buttons, collar badges, waist belt
plates and pouches. All branches of the service are covered, but
of particular interest is the section dealing with Aides-de-Camp
to the King, this taking up no less than eight pages of complex
regulations.
